Spring, is it really you?! After all of this cold and dreary weather, I think it is time to sprinkle the blog with a bit of color.
One color combo that you can never go wrong with is navy & pink. If you are feeling adventurous, add a pop of yellow and walah! You now have yourself a modern romanic place setting. When you are thinking of wedding colors, think beyond the traditional two color palette. Incorporate different shades of the accent color throughout. As you can see I complemented the bold pink napkin with a blush toasting glass, pink peonies, and a floral soap favor by Michael Design Works.
I went on a shopping spree and found all of the components (minus my own set of silverware) at Create and Barrel. I could spend a whole day there! I immediately fell in love with the modern look of their tilted candleholders. Instead of placing candles inside, I cut large blooms and floated them in water. Use this idea to scatter big blooms throughout your tables cape to make a romantic statement, all while saving some money.
The rose detailing on the plates ties the theme together nicely.
I hope this post brought a little color to your day! Make it a good one!
